BELVIE BALDWIN
1903-1983
Funeral services were held January 16 for Belvie Baldwin, 79. Mr. Baldwin
died January 13 in Highlands Regional Medical Center after an extended
illness. He was born October 27, 1903, at Denver, a son of Leck and Minnie
Blair Baldwin.
Mr. Baldwin was a retired miner and a member of the United Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Alta Francis Baldwin; two sons, Melvin Baldwin,
Strongsville, OH, and Eldon Baldwin, Brunswick, OH; two daughters, Mary
Curnette, Hilliard, OH, and Ernestine Selvage, Alger, OH; three sisters,
Hannah Hitchcock, Denver, Sudie Young, Lowmansville, and Hermalee Howard,
Paintsville; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Lonza Reed and Jerry Colvin officiated at services in Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville.
