Bill Barker, 77, of Paintsville, died Saturday, Feb.14, 2004 at Mt.
Manor Nursing Home, Paintsville.
 
Born March 4, 1926, in Elliott County, he was a son of the late Walter
and Opal Sparks Barker.
 
He was an announcer with WSIP and a member of First Baptist Church,
Paintsville.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Neva Barker.
 
Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn Branson of Cape Coral, Fla.,
and Patricia Lyons of Lexington; four sisters, Edith Mull of Woodstock,
Ohio, Lena Ison of Sandy Hook, Carol McDowell of Blaine, and Alma
Litteral of Martha; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel, Paintsville, with Dr. Charles Milam and Revs. Donnie Patrick
and Ellis Hamilton officiating.
 
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction
of Paintsville Funeral Home.
