FRANK BARKER
1907-1976
Frank Barker, 68, died Friday, April 30, at his Volga home. He was born
December 11, 1907, in Johnson County and was the son of Willie and Missouri
Osborne Barker.
Surviving are his wife, Erie McKenzie Barker, three step sons, Arland
Lemaster of Xenia, OH, Bobby Joe Lemaster of Circleville, OH, and Paul
Lemaster of Volga, three step daughters, Evalene Lemaster of Vermilla, OH,
Emma Jean King of Staffordsville and Beatrice Salyers of New Holland, OH; six
brothers and sisters, including Millard Barker of Mine Fork, Johnny Barker of
Fuget, Lura Estepp of Franklin, OH, Reilda Tackett of Paintsville, Lexy Rose
of Urbana, OH and Carla Greene of Lowmansville, and 37 step grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 3 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Reverends Lonza Reed and J. T. Bailey officiating.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home handling arrangements.
