SOPHIA BEAM

Sophia Akers Beam, age 80, died Monday, March 3, 1997 at Paintsvilie
Mountain Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 22 1916, in Johnson County, the daughter of Millard
Akers and Myrtle Preston Akers.
She is preceded in death both parents. She is survived by one daughter,
Mavire Blair of Sitka, and one sister, Melisie Vanhoose of Paintsville.
Services were Wednesday March 5, at the Jones Preston Funeral Home with
Dick Vanhoose officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
