JAMES BENTLEY
1927-2003
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 8, 11:00 a.m. at
Southside Freewill Baptist Church for James Bentley, 75, who passed
away Wednesday, February 5 2003, at Paul B. Hall Medical Center.
Mr. Bentley was born November 21, 1927 in Pike County, son of the
late Willie and Martha Coleman Bentley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Willa Bentley.
Surviving are two daughters, Denise Wells and Camillia Salyer of
Paintsville; three brothers, Mark Bentley of Springport, MI, Ken
Bentley and Bob Bentley, both of Lamar, CO.; four sisters, Gail Idler
and June Martin, both of Lamar, CO, Norma Sneller of Canon City, CO
and Mona Penrod of Parka, AZ.; 2 grandsons.
The service was officiated by J. K. Caudill, Wendell Ison and Wayne
Price, with burial following in Highland Memorial Park in
Staffordsville.
Arrangements under the direction of Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
