Earnest Blackburn

Earnest Lewis Blackburn, 66, of Debord, died Monday, February 14, 2000
at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Blackburn was born January 13, 1934, at Thomas, to the late Burgess
and Josephine Cline Blackburn.
He was a retired bus driver from the Martin County School System.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Harless Blackburn; four daughters, Angie
VanHoose of Wittensville, Ann Blackburn of Stambaugh, Theresa Nelson of
Prestonsburg and Rita Gail Blackburn of Debord; seven brothers, Glen,
Don, R.B. and Billy Joe, all of Inez, Burgess Jr. of Lowmansville, John
Eddie of Louisa and Russell of Debord; four sisters, Ida Emogene Goble
of Flat Gap, Phyllis Preece of Louisa, Betty Blackburn of South
Williamson and Manetta Blackburn of Louisa; and five grandchildren and
one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 16, at Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Frank Osborne officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
