Rita Gail Blackburn, 53, of Inez, died Tuesday, July 19, at Prestonsburg
Health Care Facility.
Born April 11, 1958, at Paintsville, she was the daughter of Betty Jean
Harless Blackburn of Inez and the late Earnest Lewis. She was a member of the
Church of Christ and worked for the Martin County Board of Education.
Additional survivors include three sisters, Theresa Nelson of Prestonsburg,
Ann Burchett of Stambaugh and Angela Vanhoose of Wittensville.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at the Phelps and Son
Funeral Home Chapel, with Frank Mills officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Inez.
