ACY BLAIR
1893-1983
Acy Blair, 89, died June 1 at Prestonsburg. Mr. Blair was born December 25,
1893 in Johnson County, the son of Eli Blair and Mary Conley Blair.
He was a resident of West Van Lear and a member of the United Baptist Church.
His wife, Mary Grim Blair, preceded him in death.
Surviving are three sons, Acy Blair, Jr., Columbus, OH, William Earl Blair,
Dayton, OH and Raymond Blair, Sunbury, OH, one brother, Irvin Blair, Oil
Springs, one sister, Goldie Vincent, Wayland; 11 grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 5 in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with
Elzie Banks officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville.
