Billy Vernon Blair, 68, of Johnson County, died Wednesday, November
12,1996.
He was born on October 18, 1928, in Johnson County, the son of Lonnie and
Doris Taylor Blair.
He is preceded in death by both his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Boyd Blair; one son, Willie Blair of
Lexington; three step-sons, Timmy Wallen of Roann, Indiana, Leslie Wallen
Jr. of Sterling, Virginia; Eddie Wallen of Dearborn, Michigan; and Charles
Wallen of Staffordsville; two stepdaughters, Sharon Grim of Paintsville;
Sandra Pack of West Van Lear; five brothers, James Blair, Otto Blair,
Ellis Blair, Frank Blair,all of Springfield; and Danny Blair of
Georgetown; 19 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Services were held at Preston Funeral Home with Charles Banks officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at Staffordsville.
