CECIL BLAIR
1914-1987
Cecil Blair, 73, died Friday, September 4, 1987, in Paul B. Hall Regional
Medical Center.
Mr. Blair was born February 20, 1914 in Floyd County, the son of Harry and
Louise Yates Blair.
He was a retired taxi driver and a member of the Mayo Memorial Methodist
Church.
His wife, Eula Hammond Blair proceeded him in death in December, 1980.
Surviving are one son; Lowell Blair of Paintsville, one daughter; Mrs.
W.D. (Opal) Ward of Paintsville; four brothers, C. B. Blair of
Paintsville; Ova Blair of Madisonville; Gus Blair and Ozz Blair, both of
Ohio; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, September 7, in Paintsville Funeral
Home Chapel, with Rev. Eugene Strange officiating.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
