Gloria Mae Ward Blair, 85, of Paintsville, died Wednesday, June 13, at her
residence.
Born Aug. 4, 1926, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late Crate
and Clara Arms Ward. She was a homemaker.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hayes Blair; a son,
Kenneth Michael Blair; and a brother, Chester Ward.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Douglas Blair of Richmond, Va.; three
daughters, Regeanna Evelyn Sample of Southington, Ohio, Julia Anna Hannah of
Hager Hill and Jennifer Lynn Boster of Richmond, Va.; 13 grandchildren; and
22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday, June 16, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel,
with Tobe Wheeler and Jeff White officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
