Malvrie Blair, 74, of Sitka, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007 at King's
Daughters Medical Center, Ashland.
Born Feb. 22, 1933, at Sitka, she was a daughter of the late
Willis and Sophia Akers Fields. She was a homemaker.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Ray Blair; and a
grandson.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Lou Blair of Sitka and
Sandra Sue Blair of Ashland; a half-sister, Carolyn Somerville of
Paintsville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 29, at Paintsville Funeral
Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Rev. Tobe Wheeler officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Paintsville Funeral Home.
