MARSHALL BLAIR
Marshall Blair
1922-1998
Retired miner Marshall Blair, 76, died Tuesday, June 16, 1998 at Paul B.
Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
Mr. Blair was born May 28, 1922, in Johnson County, to the late Oscar and
Louise Litteral Blair.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Donald Ray Blair.
Surviving are his wife, Maxine Taylor Blair; three sons, Randy of Van
Lear, Greg of Staffordsville and Marshall Jr. of Wabash, Indiana; one
daughter, Debra J. Hackworth of Van Lear; one brother, Beecher Blair of
Lagro, Indiana; one sister, Myrtle Wheatley of Paintsville; and six
grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 18, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Donnie Witten officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
