Melvin Blair

Melvin Blair, 75, died January 12 1985 in Bellbrook, Ohio
following an extended illness.
Mr. Blair was born February 9 1910, in Johnson County, the son of
Samuel and Mary Alice Estep Blair.
He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Freewill Baptist
Church.
Surviving are his wife, Nola Mae Tackett Blair; a son, James Blair
of Bellbrook; two daughters, Mrs Freda Davis of Flatwoods and Mrs.
Betty Little of Hager Hill; a sister and four brothers, Mrs. Eula
Wheeler, Marvin, Major and Chalmer Blair, all of Staffordsville,
and Frank Blair, of Sitka; six grandchildren, and two great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 16, in Paintsville
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Frank Ratliff officiating.
Burial was be in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
