Robert Blair Of Collista Dies Friday Robert Blair, 71, died at his
home at Collista Friday morning, September 30, 1960, following an
illness of six months.

The son of the late, John and Martha Jane Fitzpatrick Blair.

He was born July 30, 1889, and had been a lifelong resident of
Johnson County.

A veteran of World War 1, he formerly operated a shoe repair shop
in this city and also engaged in farming.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ada Fairchild Blair; a daughter, Mrs.
Earl Harris Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Moles, East
Point; Mrs. Sarah Lemaster, Collista; two brothers. Cyrus Blair,
Denver; Bill Blair, Hager Hill.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 3,
from the Collista Freewill Baptist Church with Claude Preston and
Scott Castle as officiating ministers.

Music was by the Paintsville Quartet. Burial was in Highland
Cemetery at Staffordsville.
