WILEY BLAIR, 49 Dies At Toledo On January 30 Former Paintsville
Policeman, Wiley Blair, 49, died Tuesday, January 30 in St.
Charles Hospital, at Toledo, Ohio, after an illness of several
months.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 2, in the First
Baptist Church of Paintsville, with Rev. Stanley Borders and Rev.
James E. Wallace officiating.

Burial followed in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at
Staffordsville under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral
Home.

Serving as pallbearers were Donald Blair, John Dale, Mark Borders,
Paul Mettes, Robert Patrick, and Bulan Pfaff. Born in Johnson
County on February 12 1918, he was the son of Mrs. Eunie Watkins
Blair and the late Jesse Blair. A construction machine operator,
he had lived in Toledo for the past five and half years, and was
member of the West Avenue Baptist Chapel in Toledo. Survivors
include his wife, the former Estalene Vorders; one son, Roger Dean
Blair of Paintsville; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Murray of
Baltimore, Maryland; and Mrs. Roger Donley of Ft. Knox; one step-
daughter, Mrs Barbara Pfaff, of Louisville; and seven
grandchildren.

Additional survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Marie Conley, of
Hillsboro, Ohio; Mrs. Armina Blair of Leander; and Mrs. Alka Long,
of Sitka.
