WILLIAM R.BLAIR JR.
1922-2006
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006 2 p.m. at
the Southside Free Will Baptist Church for William R. Blair Jr. of
Paintsville, Ky., who passed away Sunday, Jan. 22 at King’s
Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.
Mr. Blair was born Aug. 14, 1922 in Johnson County, Ky., son of
the late Rex and Dora Whitaker Blair.
He was a dairy distributor.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nevil C. Blair, and one
brother, Morris Blair. Surviving are two daughters, Judy Roberts
of Ashland, Ky., and Genia Belcher of Sciotoville, Ohio; two
brothers, Elroy Blair of West Van Lear, Ky., and Marvin Blair of
Warsaw, Ind.; one sister, Margie Robinette of Van Lear, Ky.; and
six grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
The service will be officiated by Wayne Price, Corey Young, and
Casey Young, with burial in the Highland Memorial Park at
Staffordsville, Ky.
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home
of Paintsville.
