LEO BLANTON
Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Leo
Blanton, 51 who died August 14 1988.
Mr. Blanton was born May 7, 1942 in Johnson County, the son of the
late Henry Frank Blanton and Lizzie Blanton Webb.
He was employed with South Central Bell as an electronic technician.
He was a member of the Johnson County Rescue Squad.
Surviving are his wife, Vicki Arms Blanton; one step son, Robert
Reed of Staffordsville; one daughter, Jeannie Dean Blanton; one
brother, Adam Blanton of Sitka; four sisters, Sina Blevins and Pam
Owens, both of Oil Springs, Henrietta Blair of Lowmansville and
Ruthie Cantrell of Urbana, Ohio; his grandmother, Ida Williams; and
one grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 17 in Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, with Jerry Scott and Harry Neal Frisby
officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
