VERNA LEE BLANTON
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 30, in Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel for Verna Lee Blanton, 72.
Mrs Blanton died March 27 in J. J. Jordan Nursing Home in Louisa.
She was born August 8, 1913, in Johnson County, the daughter of
HARRY and SARAH ROWLAND HOLBROOK and was a resident of Oil Springs.
Surviving are a son, Andy Blanton, Jr. of Oil Springs and Arnold
Blanton of Covington; a brother and sister, Densie Holbrook of
Wheelwright and Elizabeth Barker of Stanville; nine grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.
Clet Compton officiated at services, with burial following in
Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
