June Long Blevins, 89, of Simpsonville, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007
at Crestview Nursing and Rehab Center, Shelbyville.
Born Sept. 29, 1918, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Lundy and Tennie Spradlin Long. She was a production worker
with General Electric.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Israel Blevins, in
1993; a brother, Joe Long; and two sisters, Theo Blanton and May
Risner.
Survivors include two sisters, Agnes Colvin of Simpsonville and Ruth
Conley of Oil Springs.
Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 10, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Terry Lykins officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
