Mary Blevins, 81, of Prestonsburg, died Thursday, Dec. 18, at
Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born April 24, 1922, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Edward and Minnie Spears Lee.
She was a sales clerk with Castles Jewelry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chalmer Blevins; four
brothers, Norman Lee, Marvin Lee, Roy Lee and Edward Lee, Jr.; and
two sisters, Gladys Hazelette and Pauline Salyer. Survivors
include two daughters, Judy Jones of Ypsilanti, Mich., and Diana
Auxier of Indiana; and two grandchildren.
A private committal service was held Saturday, Dec. 20 at Jones-
Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville, with James Kelly Caudill
officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
