ROBERT E. BOOTH
1936-2013
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 1 p.m. at the Preston
Funeral Home Chapel for Robert E. Booth, 77, of River, who passed away
Sunday, June 30.
Mr. Booth was born March 7, 1936 at Whitehouse, son of the late Jack
and Pearl Ward Booth. He was an electrician at Columbus Showcase, and
a member of the Baker Branch Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Nelva Jude Booth of River; two sons, Robert
Leon Booth of Elizabethtown, and Jerry Booth of Sitka; one brother,
Ernest Booth of Ashville, Ohio; three grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren.
The service will be officiated by Jeremy Estep, James Roger VanHoose
and Gordon Ward, with
burial to follow in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at
Staffordsville. Arrangements under the direction of the Preston
Funeral Home of Paintsville.
