NELLIE JEAN BOOTHE
1928-1974
Nellie Jean Boothe, 46, of Van Lear, died in a local hospital last Friday,
June 28, after an extended illness.
Born on April 14, 1928, Mrs. Boothe was the daughter of the Roy and Myrtle
Boling Ratliff, who survive. She was employed as an assistant dial
administrator by South Central Bell.
Also surviving are her husband, Clifford Boothe, a daughter, Sandra Jean Horn
of Springfield, OH; two grandchildren and a sister, Barbara Lemaster of
Springfield.
Funeral services for Mrs. Boothe were held Sunday, June 30, in the South Side
Freewill Baptist Church with Reverend Ed Young officiating.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with arrangements
under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
