RUSSELL BORDERS
1913-1980
Russell Borders, 66, died Saturday, January 5, at his Baker Branch home.
He was born March 23, 1913, in Johnson County, the son of John and Laura
Stapleton Borders, and was a retired mechanic.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Fairchild Borders, two sons, Russell
Borders, Jr., Barstow, CA, and Donald Borders, Volga; two daughters, Mrs.
Lenore Wilson, Mt. Sterling, OH, and Mrs. Marlene Crigger, Paintsville; and
seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 8, in Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. James K. Caudill officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Paintsville
Funeral Home handling arrangements.
