CLYDE BOWLING
1907-1988
West Van Lear resident, Rev. Clyde Bowling, 80, died Friday, January 1, in
Highlands Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Bowling was born March 29, 1907 in Johnson County, the son of Edward and
Elizabeth Blevins Bowling.
He was a retired miner and a member of Auxier Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Lyda Belle Baldridge Bowling; and one brother, Ora
Lee Bowling of Maytown.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 4, in Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Calvin Setser officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
