Funeral services were held Sunday, January 22, for Elva Bowling, 80
who died Thursday, January 19 1995, at Paul B. Hall Reginal Medical
Center, Paintsville.
Mrs. Bowling was born February 1 1914, in Johnson County, the
daughter of the late Harrison and Emma Arms Burke.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Neil Bowling, of Van Lear; and
Frederick Bowling of Cleveland, Ohio; one sister, Trixie Adams, of
East Point; and six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Officiating at services at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, were
Kenny Collins and Roger Hill.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at Staffordsville.
