Rev. Otis Bowling, 67, died Tuesday, June 9 in Paul B. Hall Regional
Medical Center.

Mr. Bowling was born April 13, 1920 in Johnson County, the son of Clayton
and Gracie Boyd Bowling. He was a retired coalminer and a member of
Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Bethel Booth Bowling; three sons, William Bowling,
Terry Bowling and Clayton Bowling, all of Wabash, IN; seven daughters,
Jackie Dollarhide and Alice Mae Hewlett, both of Van Lear, Lucille Webb
and Ida Ann Sparks, both of Wabash, Bertha Henry of Louisa, Brenda
Blankenship, of Columbus, OH and Evelyn Hayslett of Paintsville; six
brothers, Carl Bowling, Delbie Bowling, and Clyde Bowling, all of Van
Lear, Marcus Bowling, of Stambaugh, Billy Gene Bowling of Wabash, and
Clifford Bowling of Chicago, IL; and six sisters, Alka Fannin and Elva
Tackett both of Van Lear, Faye Lowe of Warsaw, IN, Larrain Music of
Kentwood, MI, Ethel Clifton of Wabash, and Ruby Cisco of Meally.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 12 in Jones- Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Lowell Pelphrey officiating.

Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
