RUBY BOYD
Ruby Boyd, 72, died July 24 1985 in Methodist Hospital at Louisville
following an extended illness.
Mrs. Boyd was born January 24, 1913, in Johnson County, the daughter
of Ben Delong and Sarah Sammons Delong.
She was a resident of Meally and a member of the Church of Christ.
Her husband, Cleveland Boyd, preceded her in death in 1980.
Surviving are three daughters, Carol Davis of Strawberry Plains, TN,
Charolotte Ward of Meally and Janet Richardison of Ft. Worth, TX;
two brothers, William and Mitchell Delong of Van Lear; and two
sisters, Nancy Stewart of Wittensville and Audrey Dearfield of
Cleveland, Ohio.
Funeral services were held July 27 in Jones- Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Jerry Scott officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
