ROSIE BRACKETT
1945-1976
Rosie Brackett, 31, died Friday, October 8, after a short illness. She was
born September 7, 1945 in Johnson County. Mrs. Brackett was a resident of
Paintsville.
Surviving are her parents, Danny and Prudie Ward Brackett, four sons, Leonard
Brackett, Cliston Blanton, Fredrick Ratliff and Daniel Ratliff, all at home;
two daughters, Kathy Ratliff and Sherry Ratliff both at home; five brothers,
Danny and James, both of Wabash, IN, Paul of Lafonte, IN, William and Randall
of Paintsville; two sisters, Betty Thacker of Wabash, IN and Anna Prater of
Louisa.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 12, in the Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel with burial in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with
Jones-Preston Funeral Home handling arrangements.
