Paintsville resident, Everett F. Bradley, 78, died April 27, in Paul B. Hall
Regional Medical Center.
 
Mr. Bradley was born November 11, 1909, the son of Lewis M. Bradley and
Almeda Shepard Bradley.
 
He was a conductor of the C & O Railway Company. He was a past master of
Masonic Lodge No. 381 F & AM, Ambassador Shriner with El Hasa Temple,
treasurer of Hillbillies Clan #1, El Has Clown Unit, treasurer of Big Sandy
Shrine Club, treasurer of Odd Fellows Lodge #288, former city police judge of
Olive Hill and a Kentucky Colonel. Surviving are his wife, Jessie Vanover
Bradley; one son, Everett E. Bradley, of Houston, TX, three daughters, Carol
Crawford, of Louisville, Priscilla Brewer of Pikeville, and MaDonna Calhoun,
of Thelma; five sisters, Edith Ann Onstatt of Rochester, IN, Frances B. Hart,
and Numia Pickle, of Paintsville, Mary Schell of Flint, MI, and Gladys
Oppenheimer, of Worthington, OH; and 11 grandchildren and 10 great
grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 30, in Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Dick VanHoose and John P. Salyer officiating.
 
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
 
Honorary pallbearers included: Doc Lenox, Dickie Brewer, Wendell Crawford,
James Calhoun, Russell, James, Paul Combs, Reggie Breeding, Billie J.
Cantrell, Billy R. Cantrell, member of Masonic Lodge No. 381 F & AM, 100 F
#288, Big Sandy Shrine Club, El Hasa Temple and Hillbilly Clan #1.
