VALERIE BRANHAM

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 22, 11 a.m. at the Preston
Funeral Home Chapel for Valerie Gamble Branham, 59, of Walton, Ky., who
passed away Sunday, June 18 at Elsmere, Ky.
Mrs. Branham was born Sept. 25, 1947 in Johnson County, Ky., daughter of the
late Walker and Virgie Music Ratliff.
She was employed as a maid at the Carriage House, and she was a member of the
Phillip Cove Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, David Robert Gamble of Alaska, David Michael Mowen
of Tennessee, and Daniel Lee Mowen of Florida; two daughters, Sharon Rose of
Flat Gap, Ky., and Linda Ratliff of Walton; one brother, Jerry Ratliff of
Kentucky; two sisters, Viola Music of Paintsville, Ky., and Verla Gibson of
Inez, Ky.; and 13 grandchildren.
The service will be officiated by Bob Collins, with burial in the Highland
Memorial Cemetery a t Staffordsville, Ky.
Arrangements under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home of Paintsville.
