MYRTLE BROWN
1908-1981
Myrtle Brown, 72, died Friday, February 27, in Paintsville Hospital after an
extended illness.
Mrs. Brown was bron March 18, 1908 in Magoffin County, the daughter of Andrew
and Vivie Prater Brown.
She was a resident of Paintsville and a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Howard Brown, a daughter, Eleanor Blanton,
Paintsville; a brother, Frank Brown, Hager Hill, one granddaughter, Elizabeth
Lynn Jenkins; and a great grandson, Jeff R. Brown.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 1 in Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Graham Abbott and Willard Brown officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
