Nancy Lynn Brugh, 82, of Van Lear, died Sunday, May 15, at Central Baptist,
Lexington.
Born March 17, 1929, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late
William and Nancy Powers Ward. She was a former executive vice president at
Citizens National Bank.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, William Ward II; and a sister,
Alyce E. Conley.
Survivors include her husband, Walter J. Brugh of Van Lear; two sons, Jim
Brugh of Praireville, La. and Michael Brugh of Mobile, Ala.; two daughters,
Chandra Alfaro of Frankfort and Beth Slone of Van Lear; and four
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, May 18, at Mayo Memorial
United Methodist Church, Paintsville, with Bob Copling officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Phelps & Son Funeral Home, Paintsville.
