GLENN BUTCHER

Glenn (Beaner) Butcher, a 64-year-old retired coal operator and
Paintsville resident, died April 26, 1971, in a Paintsville
hospital.

He was born in Williamsport to the late John and Rachael Phelps
Butcher and was married to Mae White Conley Butcher, who survives
him.

Other survivors include two sons, Glen R. Butcher of Tutor Key and
Eugene Butcher of Pikeville; a brother in Miamisburg, Ohio,
William Butcher; two sisters, Grace Marcum of Williamsport and
Maxie Shelly of Chattanooga, Tenn., and six grandchildren.

Charles Milam conducted services April 29 in the chapel of the
Preston Funeral Home, which arranged for interment afterward in
the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.

Pallbearers were Harry Thomas Jr., Thomas Hazelett, Brugh, Tom
King, Charles Spradlin and Jay Burchett.
