LON BUTLER
Lon Butler, 77, died Friday, February 19, at his Staffordsville
home.
Mr. Butler was born November 6, 1910 in Johnson County, the son of
James P. and Mary Wheeler Butler.
He was retired from Texaco Oil Company and a member of
Lowmansville Church of God.
Surviving are two sons, Paul, of Catlettsburg, and Jerry, of
Orlando, Florida; two daughters, Delta Mary Ferguson, of Grove
City, Ohio, and Delores Ann Griffith, of Ashville, Ohio; one
brother, Tom Butler, of Paintsville; one sister, Julia A. Preston,
Paintsville; and four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feburary 22, in Paintsville
Funeral Home Chapel, with Revs. Jim Fillers and Lowell Rice
officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
