OPAL BUTLER
Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Opal
Butler, 76, who died Saturday, February 20, 1993, in Quality Care
Nursing Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Mrs. Butler was born Monday, February 5, 1917 in Johnson County,
the daughter of the late Bill Ed and Della McKenzie.
She was a member of the First Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lon Butler, in 1988.
Surviving are two sons, Paul Butler of Catlettsburg and Jerry
Butler of St. Cloud, Florida; two daughters Della Mary Ferguson of
Grove City, Ohio and Ann Griffith of Ashville, Ohio; one sister,
Ocie Ealey of Paintsville; one half brother, Homer Williams of
Louisa; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 22, 1993, in
Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, with Revs. Tobe Wheeler and Jim
Fillers officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
