LAURA CANTRELL
Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Laura
Cantrell, 81, who died Tuesday, October 2, 1995, at Paul B. Hall
Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Cantrell was born Thursday, September 17, 1914, in Magoffin
County, the daughter of the late Shell and Cora Webb Trimble.
She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Also preceding
her in death was her husband, Ervin Cantrell, on June 21, 1967.
Surviving are one daughter, Ethel Burke of Hager Hill; one sister,
Miranda Overly of West Carrollton, Ohio; one stepson, Donald E.
Cantrell of Defiance, Ohio; and eight grandchildren, 10 great-
grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and five step-great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 5, 1995, at
Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jerry McKenzie
officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
