LULA CANTRELL
Lula Cantrell, 70, resident of this city, died at 5:30 p.m.
Friday, July 8 1960, at the Castle Fork Rest Home at Lowmansville
following an illness of seven months.
A native of Magoffin County, she was born December 9 ?? the
daughter of the late George Washington and Martha Williams
Cantrell.
She had her home in the city for the pass forty four years.
Surviving are two sons, Charles Cantrell, Columbus, Ohio; Chester
Cantrell, U.S. Army, Ft. Fustis, Va.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 11, from
the chapel of the Jones- Preston Funeral Home with Rev. Claude
Preston officiating.
Music was by the Paintsville Quartet.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at
Staffordsville.
