Evelyn Smith Carter, 65, of Meally, died Tuesday, Oct.21 1996.

She was born October 21, 1930 in Johnson County, the daughter of Frank
and Sophia  Honeycutt Smith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Carter.

Services were October 20 at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Bobby
Joe Spencer officiating.

Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at Staffordsville.
