Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Maudie
Marie VanHoose Case, 73, who died Sunday, July 12, 1998 at Three
Rivers Medical Center of Louisa, Lawrence County, Ky.
Mrs. Case was born September 10, 1924, in Johnson County, to the late
Joe and Flossie Wilcox VanHoose.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hiram Case, on April 4,
1978.
Surviving are three brothers, Joe, Leroy and Willard "Red" VanHoose;
all of Paintsville; and three sisters, Lucille Gullett and Roberta
Stanley of Paintsville, and Julinia Spears of Columbus, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 14, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Roger Hill and Timmy Howard officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
