GENERAL CASTLE
1908-1995
  
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, March 8 for General
Castle, 86, who died Sunday, March 5 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical
Center.
  
Mr. Castle was born June 5, 1908, in Johnson County, the son of the
late Jackson and Sally VanHoose Castle.
  
He was a retired miner and member of the United Baptist Church.
  
Also preceding him in death was his wife, Josie Daniel Castle on
September 30, 1976; and a son, Eugene Castle.
  
Surviving are two daughters, Pauline Rice of Thealka and Kathleen
Sturgill of Tutor Key; and one grandson. Officiating at 1 p.m.
services at Tom’s Creek United Baptist Church will be Charles Price
and Jay Castle.
  
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, with
Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
