Marshall Castle, 84, of Nippa, died Sunday, July 28, at Coronerstone
Hospital, Huntington, W.Va.
Born April 17, 1929, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late
Narvin and Jennie Grim Castle. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired
from Western Coal.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Martie D. Castle; a
brother, Arville Castle; and a sister, Sarah Ann Music.
Survivors include his wife, Deloris Tackett Castle; two daughters,
Ruth Ann Pruitt of Ivel and Connie Music of Van Lear; four
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, July 31, at Jones-
Preston Funeral Chapel, with Joe Keaton and James Kelly Caudill
officiating.
Military honors will be by Auxier Chapter #18 DAV.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
