MARY CASTLE
1902-1980
Mrs. Mary Castle, 78, died Thursday, November 27, in Patty Clay Hospital,
Richmond, after a two week illness.
Mrs. Castle was born November 6, 1902 in Johnson County, the daughter of
Thomas and Belle Conley Horne. She was a resident of Sitka and a member of
the Freewill Baptist Church.
Her husband, Sherman Castle died in 1953.
Surviving are 2 sons, Charles Castle of Dallas, TX and Clarence Castle of
Dayton, OH; 4 daughters, Mrs. Shirley (Julia) Wells, of Louisa, Mrs. Jesse
(Gracie) Cordial and Mrs. Eugene (Margarette) Davis of Sitka and Mrs. Robert
(Juanita) Ambos of Dayton OH; 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 29, in Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel with Revs. C. C. Hall and Scott Castle.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Paintsville
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
