PRUDENCE CASTLE
1896-1969

Prudence Music Castle, 72, of Paintsville, succumbed October 14
1969, at a local hospital after an extended illness.

The daughter of Columbus Lloyd and Sarah Vance, she was born in
Wayne County, West Virginia, in November, 1896.

She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church.

Mrs. Castle was preceded in death by her first husband, Ben J.
Music, in 1938.

Her second husband, Proctor Castle, died in 1965.

Survivors include five sons, B.J. Music, Johnnie Castle, and Rev.
Irvin Castle of Paintsville; James E. Music, of Springfield, Ohio,
and Bobbie Joe Music, of Cleveland, Ohio; four daughters, also
survive, Helen Lyon of Alex, Virginia, June Wallen of Hamlet,
Indiana; Mable Johnson and Mildred of Wayland. A brother, Levi
Lloyd, lives in Wayne, and another brother, Burgess Lloyd, lives
in Genova. A sister, Bertha Marynoff, lives in Toledo, Ohio.

Services were held Thursday, October 16, in the Southside Free
Will Baptist Church, with Fred Hawkins and C.C. Hall officiating.

Burial followed in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.

The Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
