ALICE CAUDILL
1902-1981
Alice Caudill, 79, died Monday, August 31, in Riverview Manor Nursing Home,
Prestonsburg.
Mrs. Caudill was born August 1, 1902, in Johnson County, the daughter of Tom
and Mary Helen Ward Burton.
She was a resident of Auxier and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Her husband, Winnie Caudill, preceded her in death, June 24, 1978.
Surviving are three sons, James Caudill, Auxier, Carl Caudill, Hager Hill and
Willis Sparks, Prestonsburg; three sisters, Irene Brock, Plant City, FL, Oma
Blevins, Ashland and Clara Williams, Bowman, KY; four grandchildren; 7 great
grandchildren.
Funeral services held Thursday, September 3, in Auxier Freewill Baptist
Church with John Frank Ratliff and T. A. Patton officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
