Garnet Nellie May Caudill, 86, of Thelma, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005
at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born Jan. 12, 1919, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late
Claude Grant and Lydia Jane Hackworth May. She was a homemaker.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Caudill, in
2003; a brother, Robert Clyde May; and two sisters, Anna Opal O'Bryan
and Myrtle Marie Dowler.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Allen Caudill of Lima, Ohio, and
James Calvin Caudill of Campbellsville; three daughters, Loretta Faye
Moffett of Lexington, and Sandra Kay Caudill and Teresa Anita
Caudill, both of Thelma; a sister, Betty Alene Jennings of Lima; six
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, Aug. 12, at Tom's Creek Freewill
Baptist Church with James Kelly Caudill, Larry Smith, Chuck Slone,
Howard Moffett, and Shaun Caudill officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
