WINNIE CAUDILL
1901-1978
Winnie Caudill, 76, died Saturday, June 24, in Mountain Manor Nursing Home,
Prestonsburg, after an extended illness.
The son of Hayden and Della Lewis Caudill, he was born December 26, 1901, in
Johnson County.
He was a resident of Auxier, a retired coal miner and a member of the
Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Alice Burton Caudill; 2 sons, James Caudill and Carl
Caudill of Auxier; step-son Willis Sparks and foster daughter, Violet
Caudill; 2 sisters, Bessie Burton of Cincinnati and Gracie Spradlin of
Fairborn, OH.
Services held in Auxier Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. John Frank Ratliff
and T. A. Patton officiating.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 26 in the Auxier Freewill Baptist
Church with Reverends John Frank Ratliff and T. A. Patton officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in charge.
