CARL CHANDLER
1927-2005
Carl Chandler, 77, of Isom, died Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Hazard
Nursing Home, Hazard.
Born May 9, 1927, he was a son of the late Jayson and Virgie Daniel
Chandler.
He was retired from the grocery business and a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Francis L. Chandler, in
1998.
Survivors include Carla Lynn Chandler Caudill of Whitesburg; a
brother, Russell Chandler of Hager Hill; a sister, Loretta Jewell
Parker of Fairbourne, Ohio; two grandchildren; and one great-
grandchild.
Funeral services were Monday, April 11, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, Paintsville, with James Kelly Caudill and Roger Hill
officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
