Gena Meek Chandler, 70, of Paintsville, died Sunday, Feb. 26, at her
residence.
Born March 23, 1940, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late
Thurman and Geneva Sparks Meek. She was a nurse.
Survivors include a son, Dale Daniel of Paintsville; two daughters, Donna
Castle of Frankfort and Jenny Porter of Paintsville; six grandchildren; and
eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Feb. 29, at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel,
with J.R. Frisby officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
