RICHARD CHANDLER

Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Richard (Happy)
Chandler, 71.
Mr. Chandler was born Feb 15, 1917 in Johnson County, the son of William H.
and Della Howe Chandler.
He was a retired miner and a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are his wife, Biddie Slusher Chandler; three sons, William and
Roger, both of Van Lear, and Gordon of Los Angeles, CA, two daughters, Cathy
Crislip and Debbie Chandler, both of Van Lear; and two sisters, Madge Carr of
VA and Mary Ruth Oneal of PA.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb 6 in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel
with Jerry Castle officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
